What if a drink could be much more than just a drink? That question is how Akaré, the botanical elixir bar of Eywa Retreat, was born.
At Akaré, we love cocktails, fresh juices and the simple pleasure of sharing a drink. But we wanted to go further. Inspired by Tri Hita Karana, the Balinese philosophy of harmony between people, nature and the spiritual world, we explored combinations of fruits, plants, flowers, roots and spices, considering both their nutritional qualities and their flavours. Our vision: to bring together the pleasure of drinking and a more mindful approach to well-being.
Four families, four intentions
We created sixteen botanical elixirs, divided into four complementary families:
Energy & Focus: creations for moments when we seek energy, alertness and mental clarity. Awaken, Inner Fire, Mokali Power and Blue Mind.
Digest & Balance: inspired by traditional digestive ingredients, with an emphasis on lightness and comfort after meals. Essence of Eywa, Green Temple, Jungle Reset and Bali Immortelle.
Glow & Protection: fruits, flowers and plants selected in particular for their antioxidant compounds and nutritional qualities. Sacred Heart, Pandora Glow, Desire and Purple Rain.
Restore & Harmony: creations to refresh, support hydration and invite moments of calm. Sahena Hydration, Golden Root, Moonlight and Black Magic.

Explore its four elixirs, presented in four 30 ml tasting vials. Four colours, four compositions, four different taste experiences.
Savor the one that delights you most. Our bartender then prepares your favourite as a 250 ml serving.
A few to start with
Awaken: pineapple, ginger, lime, turmeric, black pepper and coconut water. Fresh, vibrant and slightly spicy.
Blue Mind: blue telang flower, green tea, mint, lemon and wild honey. Deep blue, fresh and elegant, and it changes with lemon.
Purple Rain: blue telang flower, lychee, lime, basil and sparkling water. Served blue: add the citrus and it turns purple.
Moonlight: chamomile, lavender, vanilla, honey and lemon. Soothing, floral and comforting, served hot or iced.

At Akaré, we do not promise miracles. We simply believe that a drink deserves the same attention as a carefully prepared dish: thoughtful ingredients, balanced combinations, and the pleasure of tasting.
